For the first time ever, there is a Wiesnkini beer mug lid with an annual motif. It can do something that Oktoberfest souvenir mugs cannot: enhance the enjoyment of beer at the venue itself. The design is based on a medal that was issued in 1910 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Oktoberfest. We have expanded the original design to include the option of adding a personal engraving.

Since we do not have a legal department, we have also changed the inscription slightly to avoid the word Oktoberfest. As in the original, the inscription begins with “Z.E.A.D.,” meaning “In memory of” (Zur Erinnerung an das). At the top you see the Wiesnkini W.K. below that the Münchner Kindl, in the background the towers of Frauenkirche, and in front of it a scene from the first Oktoberfest in 1810, in which two riders compete for victory in the horse race in front of the royal tent.

Please add each mug lid individually to the cart with the desired engraving. We'll use the engraving exactly the way you order it, i.e. we'll not automatically add dots to monograms. By the way, you can even use full words.

Whether jug lids can be turned into collector's items is now, of course, up to you.

How a Mug Lid Enhances the Enjoyment of Beer

The innocent open air enjoyment of beer is all too often marred by external influences: beer contamination by wasps, falling leaves, or even the moist speech of the person sitting in front of you.

But it doesn't have to be that way: Wiesnkini mug lids not only protect your brew — the incredibly decorative, wooden, engraved lids also turn your mug into a work of art. Thanks to the great achievements of our research department, the lids are suitable for light and dark beer, wheat beer, and even an Imperial Baltic Black Forest Vanilla Flavored Raspberry Pastry Stout. So, basically everything.  They fit on liter mugs as well as half-liter mugs or pint glasses.

Beer tent visitors also appreciate their built-in identification feature thanks to your individual laser-engraving underneath the Wiesnkini emblem. On top of that, it's also helpful to prevent premature clearing of your not yet finished beer. Hereby, they're worth their money after only one signle saved beer.
